Plagiarism in simple words means the process of taking someone else’s work and calling it yours. It is like copying someone else’s work and not even mentioning that person’s name ("Academic plagiarism - and how to avoid it", 2014). It is a very common activity but it’s a crime to call someone else’s work as your own and it’s like someone else put in all the efforts in that work and then he is not even given the credit of it.
